Giving a landscape an updated look with close board fencing

Our team at Simons Landscaping has given this garden a modern look by erecting new close board fence panels in this Norfolk garden. We used a variety of materials to help bring their garden back to life; these include: close board fence panels, concrete posts and concrete gravel boards.

At first, our team started the works by clearing out the current boundary of lay-landi-hedging, the rotten lap panel fencing and ivy. All of the fencing and hedging where chipped on site and recycled – which will be reused as Mulch for our landscaping projects.

All of the boundaries where cleared on one side of garden. Then we supplied and erected 1.8 x 1.8 meter close boarded panels onto 300 millimetre concrete gravel boards, with 2.7 meter concrete posts. With the fencing on gravel boards, this allows the fence to be held in firmly, whilst also giving it a raised and an appearance which makes it stand out.

After, on the other side of garden, we supplied and erected 1650 x 1.8 meter close board panels onto 150 millimetre concrete gravel board with 2.4 meter concrete posts.

Within fencing lines pedestrian gates where fitted at 0.9 x 1.8 meter and 1.2 x 1.8 meter which included trellis work.Picture of a brown gate in a Norwich garden Picture of a brown gate in between concrete posts in a Norwich garden Picture of a brown gate with trellis on top Picture of a brown fence in a Norwich garden Picture of a brown closeboard fence in a Norwich garden Picture of a brown fence on top of a concrete gravel board Picture of a brown close boarded fence panel in a Norwich garden Picture of a pathway leading to a gate in a Norwich garden Picture of a close boarded fence on top of a concrete gravel board

Within completing the job, we used approximately 43 linear meters of fencing. The job was carried out and finished to our excellent standards within 3 days; using a 2 man team. All of the fencing used in this project is grown and transported within the UK from a renewable forests; thus reducing our carbon footprint. The fence panels are also pressure treated; this is to increase the life span. This helps to prevent rotting and attack from insects.
