October Update

Over the last six weeks all of our teams have been very busy finishing a range of works over Norfolk. We have completed various works utilising all of our in house skills and tools: Patio, Fencing, Planting, Driveways, Restoration and many more!

Thursford Moat

We had the pleasure to work at a stunning house in North Norfolk – Thursford. The property had a moat in which needed some attention to bring it back to life. To start this process we started dredging the sludge from the bottom of the moat. The next stage was to build a retaining wall along the lawn edge using railway sleepers, this gives the moat strength for a long time to come. To finish off the restoration new top soil was laid and levelled around the edge with a grass seed dressing. The moat is now holding more water and the grass around the edge is much more level.

Holt Garden

Our client contracted us from their home in Colchester wanting a transformation in their holding home in Holt North Norfolk. Working with our client we designed a plan which worked for them and create a low maintenance solution. To progress, the whole garden was stripped and cleared to create a blank canvas to work from.

We built fencing around the edge of the garden, created raised flower beds using railway sleepers and to finish the garden we installed a Raj Green circle patio area; surrounded by shingle. To finish the front of the works, our team installed a Burnt Amber blockweave driveway for our client; with the added security and privacy we finished with gates. The project took two weeks due to tight access, but we had the right tools for the job and delivered a beautiful garden on a budget!

Collitshall Overhaul

This particular garden was struggling for sunlight and colour; working with our client we completed a plan to overhaul their garden and give it a bright future.

To start the works our team cleared out a massive tree and shrubs, with the roots having to be cut; all of which was removed from site. We installed a privacy 1950mm high closeboard fencing which worked extremely effectively. Our team then prepped the flower beds with mushroom compost and planted a selection of colourful shrubs; with all of the beds dressed with mulch.

Approaching the driveway we planted a 1.8m high hedge for immediate privacy. To finish the front we dressed the drive with fresh 20mm stone, new soil levelled and seeded to complete the transformation. The old natural pond had a new lease of life to complete the overhaul, the pond had new liner, new pump and new rocks dressed around the edges. We left with another happy customer, job well done!
