Lingwood Playing Field, Norfolk.
Lingwood Parish Council contacted us regarding installation of tarmac paths around the Village Playing Field, We started works at the beginning of January 2013 and finished February 2013. As you can see from the pictures above the construction of the paths. The grass and soil was dug out at 200mm deep with all arising removed from site, then a 150mm deep wooden gravel board, pegged at every 1.m. then a membrane was laid down with a backfill of 170mm of crushed rubble, with a surfacing of 10mm SMA hot tarmac laid at 40mm thick. The path is 1.200.m. wide and 520 .m. long which links to all the footpaths and has an area for seating. The job was very satisfying to do to give all residents pathways around the Green.
